11 & 12 yr old Division Q & A
Who can enter?
The
Tournament and Clinic is open to all children who's current league age is 11 or 12 years old. Players do not need to
reside in the city of Arcadia.

How are the teams formed?
All
players will have a brief tryout and be drafted/placed on a team. Teams will participate in a practice/clinic
and will play in the Galindo Tournament. Each team will play 2 games and a winners play a championship game.

Who
are the coaches and managers?
Adults who wish to participate may request to coach and/or manage a Tournament
team. Those adults selected will be teamed up with a current Arcadia Pony team manager who will assist them in
drafting players and with the rules, and procedures of Pony level Baseball and Arcadia Pony. Current season coaches
and managers will be given priority in the selection process, and will be first in line in next year's manager/coaches selection
process.

What is involved with the Clinic?
The Clinic is
designed to introduce players, coaches, managers and parents on the rules and procedures of Pony Level Baseball and Arcadia
Pony. The clinic will begin with a tour of our facilities and explanation of procedures. Current managers,
along with Umpires and Grand Slam personnel will discuss tryouts and rules, particularly leading off and stealing, balks and
pitching. The clinic and tryouts take about 4 hours and the boys will have time to work out on the Pony field, back
practice area and batting cages.

How does the Tournament games work?
Players
who have been drafted/placed on teams will be given a 2 game schedule, the teams with the best records with play in a single
game Championship. Winners will be given a party and batting time at Grand Slam, in Monrovia.

Who
should consider participating?
First, kids who like to play baseball and are interested in continuing
to play baseball in the higher levels. Those who want to learn how our program works, the rules and how to prepare their
player for the next year. Adults can take this opportunity to introduce themselves as prospective coaches, managers,
board members and active volunteers for the 2010 Pony Season and help in the off-season preparation for the coming season.

What
uniforms will the players wear?
Each player should arrive in their regular season uniform. Each
player will be given an Arcadia All-Star hat, the same hat as our All-Star teams wears.

What
is the cost?
The cost for the clinics and Tournament is $30.00. There is an admission fee of
$2.00 per person over the age of 15 years old for Tournament games. Admission includes fountain drink. Each participant
receives a Arcadia Pony All-Star Hat.
